Will the GGF Proposed National Scrappage Scheme Save our planet?

The Glass & Glazing Federation (GGF) has recently petitioned the government to introduce a National Window Scrappage Scheme. The GGF is the recognised leading authority for employers and companies within the flat glass, glazing, window, home improvement, plastics and window film industries and is the primary trade association for companies that make, supply or fit flat glass and related products representing more than 60% of the industry’s turnover.

Blog Action Day – Climate change

Today is Blog Action Day an annual event that enables anybody from around the internet to write about the same topic, this year Climate Change.
Climate change is and will continue to effect everything on this planet. Which ever way you look at the evidence the the climate on the planet is changing and causing more adverse weather effects, flooding and the polar ice caps are very much disappearing. There are many cynics, that believe it is just some propaganda from governments and scientists to force us the public into changing the way we live our lives, forcing us to buy eco efficient cars or not drive at all, maybe provide our own solar or wind power sources, change the way we shop and the like but above all there are many that think this is a ruse to make us spend more money and pay more taxes. The majority of people however either don’t believe in climate change or basically don’t care.
